Colion Noir AKA Collins Idehen Jr. Refuting The Propaganda Of The NRA Young Guns Part IV

(This is a repost of an entry which disappeared without explanation.) In fact the following shows that a falsehood was sent to Google which was probably what got the post removed. The following is a screenshot of that falsehood being suggested on the Armslist forum. No minors were posted in this entry and that can be proven. So these individuals are liars as well as gun nuts.

-------------------------------------------
Once again we have a video put out by Collins Idehen Jr./Colion Noir. See it at the top of the page. In this video he plays what he says is a recording from Congress which is inaudible and unintelligible with words written beneath it. He says that is what the two speakers are saying. But yet he offers no real proof (such as a Congressional Record) to back up his claim. Frankly we have no reason to believe Collins Idehen Jr's interpretation of that recording.

Then he goes on to attempt to use that recording as a basis for his contention that background check legislation means the creation of a registry. Resulting in the inevitable gun confiscation. None of which is true and again he presents no evidence to back up such a theory. It is of course the patented NRA falsehood which Idehen/Noir is repeating like a parrot. Perhaps we should ask..."Does Colion want a cracker?"

All of those contentions are untrue and without merit. In fact the opposite is true. The Manchin-Toomey Legislation which failed to pass the Senate strictly forbade the formation of registries. A very long jail sentence would be the result of anyone proven to have created such a registry.

From Politifact-
"A specific ban on a gun registry
Some opponents of the amendment claimed that the legislation would have thrown gun owners into a national registry so the government could keep track of them.
"If your private gun transaction is covered by Toomey-Schumer-Manchin (and virtually all will be) ... you can assume you will be part of a national gun registry," the lobbying group Gun Owners of America said. (The group added the name of Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y, one of the co-sponsors.)
Actually, the amendment outlawed any such registry. In fact, a registry was already outlawed, and the amendment extra outlawed it.
It declared that nothing in the legislation should be construed to "allow the establishment, directly or indirectly, of a federal firearms registry. And it included these provisions:
• "The Attorney General shall be prohibited from seizing any records or other documents in the course of an inspection or examination authorized by this paragraph other than those records or documents constituting material evidence of a violation of law."
• "The Attorney General may not consolidate or centralize the records of the ... acquisition or disposition of firearms, or any portion thereof."
• "Any person who knowingly violates (the prohibition against consolidating or centralizing records) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both." (The threat of prison was a new layer.)"

No one has any intention of creating a gun registry or of confiscating gun owner's weapons. That is totally untruthful. What it is however is the perennial  NRA fear mongering. The usual Wayne LaPierre and cohorts group hallucination. That federal agents in black helicopters or black vehicles will arrive in the yards of gun owners and demand they hand over their weapons or be arrested. That every person who has a hunting rifle will be tracked, watched and spied upon. No gun owner will be safe from government surveillance. It is a ludicrous assertion. It is the paranoid, twisted viewpoint that the fanatical fringe of the NRA has been promoting since Wayne LaPierre became one of its leaders. It seems that Collins Idehen Jr. AKA Colion Noir is drinking from LaPierre's fanatical Kool Aid glass. It is not the truth. It is an abject lie without justification. But it is what one should now expect to see from Noir. He is making himself less and less relevant through immersion in the mindless NRA propaganda. That's one way of ridding ourselves of his nonsensical, glib meanderings. Allow him to minimize his own brand with foolishness. He is rapidly making himself a laughable afterthought.  Good going Collins.

We have some postings for today. These are individuals involved in the recall efforts against the Colorado Legislators who voted for common sense gun safety measures. These individuals believe that their rights are more important than children's lives. And/or mistakenly believe that Constitutional Rights are without limitations which is fallacious. It really is as simple as that.
