Surfers United Will Not Be Cowed

We at Surfers United are determined not to be cowed. We will continue on as we have been. This newest blog is a consolidation of postings which will be added to and put up in many places. New postings will also be created and published.

Google/Blogger has chosen a path which violates the laws of the United States. In particular the United States Constitution which guarantees American citizens freedom of speech. All of the bloggers involved in Surfers United are American citizens and entitled to the protections enshrined in the Constitution.  One particular person seems to be determined to violate those guaranteed civil liberties. He is Mr. James Pond, Blogger's Legal Counsel. As I post, complaints have been filed against his license to practice law in Great Britain where he resides.No one who acts with such dishonor should be allowed to practice law. Google has been sent a cease and desist order to stop removals of our blogs based on Constitutional Law.

There are things even here in the United States which are illegal to post in any print or online media. Those things are as follows. Social Security numbers. Credit Card numbers. Medical Identification Numbers. School records of minors. Minors criminal records which by law are sealed. Some documentation regarding disabled individuals which are protected by HIPPA statutes.

Everything else can legally be posted. Addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses are all subject to being outside privacy laws. Only the last paragraph's criteria violates the law.  The Howlers Den blog and its offshoots never posted anything illegal, except by mistake. Such as someone who is a minor yet has information posted on the internet which usually they do themselves. Reposting it is not technically illegal but once discovered it should be removed. Which is the policy we always adhered to.

We only ever received a formal Google complaint from the German Google legal team. It always involved Mr. Bruno Leicht and we always responded. Mr. Pond and the Google/Blogger legal team never sent us any other complaints. In our last blog removal and in the previous ones as well they were untruthful. Under Google policy, they are supposed to inform Bloggers of complaints and allow them to remove the posts or choose to appeal the removal demand. This was never done, though Pond and Company have perpetrated the lie that it was.

Then there is a second consideration. If what we posted was not illegal (We were careful to ensure it wasn't) then a complaint does not constitute removal. One might request removal, but that does not mean the removal should be acquiesced to by Google/Blogger. Because by doing so they violate the members of Surfers United's free speech rights. Which is a situation which can be remedied in a court of law. A remedy that Surfers United has now initiated.

We will continue our dedication to Truth. To the exposure of the dark forces within our society such as racism, gun violence, bigotry, bullying and so forth. We will not be intimidated.

Nor will we ever be silenced.
